The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Tuesday unveiled “Born Winners” as the official slogan for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), to be hosted by Morocco from July 5 to 26.
CAF said the slogan aims to honor African women as a driving force in football and beyond, describing it as a tribute to their resilience, leadership, and spirit of achievement.
“Born Winners’ is more than a slogan—it’s a statement of identity,” CAF said in a press release. “African women lead the game as players, coaches, officials, fans and media pioneers, breaking barriers and inspiring future generations.”
The tournament’s message celebrates women’s instinctive drive to overcome obstacles and pursue excellence, both on and off the pitch, CAF added.
The 2024 edition marks the second time Morocco hosts the competition, which features 12 national teams from across the continent.
